A complete kit ready for you to make your own Johnny Rotten Union Jack handwarmers.

These gloves were originally hand knitted by Alabama Whirly from her own pattern whilst listening all the while to her Fidelity old record player. These Union Jack gloves are a homage to The Sex Pistols, Johnny Rotten and God Save the Queen (the record).

The kit comprises of 25g of Rebel Red, 25g of Naked Anarchy and 25g Bolshy Blue hand dyed by Skein Queen and a full colour pattern including charts to make your own Union Jack handwarmers, all in a handy natural cotton drawstring bag, which you can re-use as a project bag (not pictured).

The yarn is Blissful, 4 ply sockweight yarn (approx. 14 wpi), 100% Blue Faced Leicester, bred, spun and dyed in the UK, machine wash on cool cycle.

This pattern is suitable for intermediate – experienced knitters.

The kit excludes needles so that you can choose your preferred method of working. The pattern is knitted on a circular needle using the Magic Loop technique. You can alternatively use either the 2 circular needle method or set of 5 DPNs. If you prefer to work flat on straight needles, it is possible to modify this pattern to suit.

The pattern is a four page colour printout including the colour chart.

Colours may vary from batch to batch but will always be red, white and blue!
